Was swapping my chain and sprockets last night and found out my rear sprocket had been installed BACKWARDS by the previous owner for who knows how long
My buddy noticed the chamfer was on the wrong side after I complained about weird chain noise for 3 months, and once we flipped it around the bike rides smoother than it ever has, has anyone else ever dealt with backwards sprockets from a previous owner?

Oh wow, really? I mean I guess it makes sense if it was making noise but I'm kinda skeptical that flipping a sprocket around makes that big of a difference. Chains and sprockets wear in together so maybe it was just broken in weird and the noise was actually from something else. Either way glad it rides better now but feels like one of those things people blow way out of proportion.
