My work truck's AC died in Dallas last August during a 3pm service call
I was in the middle of a capacitor swap when I realized my van was hitting 115 degrees inside. Had to chug warm water and finish the job in under 15 minutes before I started feeling dizzy. Any other field techs here have a secret for cooling down fast without taking a break?

Oh man, that Dallas heat is no joke (I did a compressor swap last July in Mesquite and thought I was gonna melt into a puddle). My go-to trick is soaking my shirt in the van's water supply and putting it back on wet, it drops your core temp quick even if you look like a drowned rat.
