Coworker kept bragging about his 'side hustle' but I found out it was just scalping stuff from our own warehouse
He was selling hardware fittings on eBay for triple the price, and our boss just laughed it off saying 'that's initiative.' Would you say something or just let the guy dig his own hole?

Guess it depends on your workplace culture but I've noticed this kinda stuff happening everywhere now. People find one little loophole and they think they're a genius, completely missing how it messes with trust and teamwork. The boss laughing it off just tells you what they value more, short term hustle over long term fairness.

Well, I used to be all for people finding creative ways to make extra cash, but this definitely changed my mind. It's one thing to flip thrift store finds, but pocketing stuff from your own workplace just feels like a shortcut that hurts everyone in the long run. The boss laughing it off just shows where the real problems start, doesn't it?
