My 3D printed helmet project warped overnight in my garage

I was printing a Mandalorian helmet for a costume, got the main shell done after 48 hours. Left it in my garage in Chicago to cool, but the temp dropped way more than I thought. Woke up and the whole visor area had a major bend, like an inch out of shape. I tried a heat gun to fix it, but that just made one side sag. Now the piece is basically scrap and I haven't touched the printer in two months. Has anyone salvaged a big warped print without starting over?

Man that's rough, but honestly I've never seen a warp that bad get fixed. Once the plastic's memory gets set like that, you're fighting a losing battle. I'd just bite the bullet and reprint it, maybe bring the bed inside to cool next time. Sucks to lose that much print time though.

Had a buddy try to fix a similar warp with a heat gun and a stack of textbooks once. Didn't end well, but hey @robertb30, at least the fire department showed up fast.

Yeah, that's a total loss.
