Wasted $500 on a roof coating that peeled off in 6 months

Paid a local guy $500 to apply a rubber coating on my flat roof near Coors and it's already bubbling up after the monsoon season. Anyone have a roofer they trust for flat roofs in the north valley?

That "rubber coating" stuff is hit or miss - sounds like they didn't prime it right or put it on too thin. Have you looked into Black Jack roll roofing instead? It's way more durable for flat roofs here.

Honestly @the_faith I was always team rubber coating until my neighbor had the same problem you're describing. Switched to Black Jack on my shed last year and it's been holding up way better through the rain.
