DAE feel like their friendships start feeling like work after you hit 30?

Visited my buddy's new place last weekend and he spent half the time on his phone scheduling playdates for his kid. Has anyone else noticed how you gotta plan stuff weeks out now just to grab a beer?

Did a friend drive two hours to see me then spend the whole visit on his phone booking dentist appointments?

Think you're being a little harsh here. Maybe he was just trying to multitask and thought he could squeeze in a quick call while you were there. Driving two hours is a big deal, honestly. It shows he wanted to see you but maybe had a lot of stuff piling up. Some people just aren't good at sitting still and focusing, especially if they're stressed about appointments or work. I'd give him a pass unless he does it every time.
