It flagged 'per my last email' as passive aggressive, which was honestly helpful. Anyone have a better tool for business writing?

Oh wow, that's actually a really good catch... I've always hated that phrase but could never put my finger on why. It just sounds so cold and like you're scolding someone. I've started trying to just say "as I mentioned before" or even just re-state the point plainly without the reference. Makes the whole email feel less like a fight.
