The way people talk about AI 'thinking' really bugs me now

I keep seeing folks in here say the AI 'figured out' or 'decided' something. It's just pattern matching on a huge scale, not actual thought. How do we get people to use more accurate language about how these systems actually work?

Respectfully disagree though, human thinking is also just really complex pattern matching...
