I used to think air fryers were just for frozen fries

Last week, I tried making chicken thighs from scratch in mine (just some salt, pepper, and a little oil). I set it for 22 minutes at 380 degrees, and they came out with skin so crispy you could hear it crack. My partner, who never liked my baked chicken, actually asked for seconds. What's another 'from scratch' thing that works way better in the air fryer than I'd think?

Wait you only used salt and pepper? That's wild, mine always need a whole spice rack to taste good. Try whole baby potatoes tossed in a little oil and garlic powder, they get so crispy outside and stay soft inside. Brussels sprouts also turn out amazing, way better than when I roast them in the oven. The air fryer is low key a veggie hero.

Right? @zarapalmer it's funny how we overcomplicate stuff. I see it with my coffee, my skincare, even my kid's lunches. We keep adding things thinking more is better, when half the time the simple way works just as well. A little oil and salt on good veggies is all they really need.
