The day I stopped using screw terminals for alarm panel connections
Used to spend 20 minutes per panel carefully tightening screw terminals until a senior guy showed me how much cleaner IDC connectors work back in 2019. Has anyone else switched their main panel wiring method and seen a big time savings?

Actually IDC connectors can be hit or miss with 22 gauge wire, they really shine with solid core 24 gauge but not all panels are designed for them the same way. Gotta double check your panel specs before you fully ditch screw terminals.

Read somewhere that 22 gauge stranded can be a pain with those connectors, just doesn't bite right.
