Had to pick between subbing or dubbing for my latest binge

I was starting Attack on Titan last week and couldn't decide if I wanted to go subbed or dubbed. My buddy swears by the sub because he says the voice acting is way better in Japanese. I ended up going dubbed just so I could fold laundry at the same time and honestly I feel like I missed some intense moments because the English voices didn't hit as hard. Has anyone else regretted their choice after a few episodes?

My cat walked across my keyboard mid fight scene and honestly that dubbed scream added more drama than the actual voice actor. Might try switching to subs for season two myself.
