My barber, who's never watched anime, said 'it's all just cartoons for kids, right?' and it made me realize how bad our community is at explaining itself.

Reminds me of my buddy who works in tech support. They still use the same awful software from like 2005, crashes all the time. Every year management says they'll upgrade, but it never happens. Feels like we're just stuck repeating the same old problems instead of fixing them for good, lol.
