Rant: I just found out my favorite '90s anime dub cut out 40% of the original scenes
I was binging an old VHS rip of Sailor Moon last night and looked up a comparison site called Anime Differences. Turns out the English version I grew up on literally chopped entire episodes down to fit TV slots. Why do studios think we can't handle a slower pace or some character development?

Is it crazy that I actually feel kinda ripped off now? Like I spent years thinking I knew these characters and their stories, but really I only got the watered down version.
