He came in for an oil change last Thursday and said his boss held a team meeting to announce they were cutting all overtime pay, effective immediately. No warning, no talk about budgets, just a flat 'this is how it is now'. He said he looked around the room, saw everyone's faces drop, and just knew he was done. He walked out, typed his resignation on his phone in the parking lot, and sent it before he even started his car. Wow, cutting overtime pay with zero warning is just brutal. That's not some small policy change, that's a huge pay cut for people who probably count on that money.
