My brother's 'quick fix' cost me a whole weekend redoing it.
He tried to repair his oven without telling me and messed up the wiring. I had to spend my whole weekend fixing his mistake. How do you deal with family members who complicate repairs?

Wow, I saw a thing online that said to just ban them from the toolbox. Sounds harsh but might be necessary!

That "whole garage" thing @kelly61 is just like everything else. You ban them from the toolbox, next week they're in the yard shed. It's a pattern of pushing limits. You see it with kids testing rules or people always asking for one more thing after you already said yes. Where does it stop?
