The guy at the hardware store gave me a tip about PVC glue that saved my sprinkler system
He told me to use the blue can for wet pipe in my backyard trench when it rained, and after 4 months of pressure tests it still hasn't leaked, has anyone else had a pro tip from a random store worker that actually worked out?

Did you use the blue can primer too or just the glue by itself?

@miab16 I'm with you on questioning how much this really matters. Are we really gonna act like a specific color of glue is the difference between a working sprinkler and a flood? I just grab whatever can is closest at Home Depot and my stuff holds up fine for years. Maybe the blue can is just a placebo for people who overthink this stuff.
