TIL that $40 'premium' pizza cutter was a total scam

I picked up a fancy circular pizza cutter from a kitchen supply store in Chicago last month. The thing cost me $40 and it couldn't even slice through a thin crust without dragging the cheese everywhere. Ended up going back to my old $5 plastic one from the grocery store. Anyone else get burned by an overpriced kitchen tool that was supposed to be 'game changing'?

Gotta say this whole thing just shows how people pick the dumbest hills to die on. It's like we've all forgotten what actual problems look like and now we're out here fighting about pizza cutters that cost maybe $8. Same thing happens with like every kitchen gadget or fast food item now, people get whipped up into a frenzy over the most random stuff. Honestly feels like everyone's just looking for something to be mad about, even if it's a flimsy plastic wheel that barely cuts through a slice.
