Spotted a trick at a local shop in Birmingham that saved me 2 hours

Honestly, I was at Jim's Auto Repair off Route 78 last week watching them do a timing belt on a 2012 Accord. They used zip ties to hold the cam gears in place instead of the fancy $80 tool I always buy. Ngl, it worked perfectly and took them maybe 10 minutes total. Anyone else got a cheap hack like this they swear by?
