My tent pole snapped on the Lost Coast Trail last weekend, had to MacGyver a fix with a stick and some duct tape

Lost Coast Trail with a busted pole? That's brutal. The wind out there can get insane, I'm not surprised it snapped. Duct tape is a real trail hero for a reason.

See this everywhere now, stuff just breaks faster than it used to. Makes you appreciate the simple fixes.
