I finally took down my old wooden playset after 22 years
The thing was built in 2003 from a kit my dad and I put together over a couple weekends, and it survived three different families of kids climbing on it. When I went to take it apart last month, the support beams were totally rotted at the base and the swing chains had rusted through in spots I never noticed before. Anyone else hold onto something in their yard way longer than they probably should have?

Man, that's tough. Those playsets hold SO many memories

My buddy STILL talks about the time him and his brother built a whole fort out of their playset and tried to camp out in it during a thunderstorm. Their mom got PISSED when the slide got all muddy.
