Shoutout to the baker who told me to weigh my flour instead of scooping it

I finally bought a $20 scale after my last three batches of cookies came out like hockey pucks, and this weekend's batch was perfectly chewy, so has anyone else had a simple tool change make that big a difference?

Yeah, that "weigh your flour" tip is a total game changer! I read it makes a huge difference because scooping can pack in way too much.

Totally, a cheap kitchen scale changed everything for me. The weight in grams is so much more reliable than trying to use cup measures.
