Left silent" is the best review you can get sometimes. He was probably just stunned his usual complaint session got canceled by a good haircut. That text review was him finally finding words again.

Left silent" is my default after a haircut too, but that's just me trying to figure out how to fix it myself later.

Wait, I'm not so sure about that. Silence doesn't always mean they're stunned by a good haircut. Sometimes people go quiet because they don't like the result but don't want to complain right away. That text review could just be them being polite after the fact. It's not a sure sign of a great job.
