Finally noticed why our drive thru gets so backed up on Tuesdays

I work at a coffee shop near the mall in Portland and for months I thought Tuesday rushes were random. Then I realized the senior center across the street runs their bingo bus every Tuesday at 10 AM. 35 people pile out and all hit our drive thru around 10:45. Has anyone else tracked a local event messing with your shift timing?

Bet you haven't checked if the bingo winners get free drink coupons. Last year my friend's shop had a church group that always got comped coffee from the senior center staff themselves, causing a whole other slowdown. Might be worth asking their activity director if anyone gets reward cards.

Oh yeah, that makes total sense. I actually read a post from a senior center in Ohio that started giving out punch cards for free drinks after bingo games. It fixed their line issues pretty quick once people saw the reward was worth hanging around for.
