Spent $80 on a new headset for drive-thru and I'm torn
It's way clearer for orders, but now I hear every single car door slam and bag crinkle in the kitchen. Did I just buy myself a headache?

Ever read about how our brains can filter out background noise after a while? Your hearing might adjust to the new sounds in a week or two. Hopefully it just takes some getting used to!

My old apartment had a train track right behind it. I swore I'd never sleep through that noise, but after two weeks I stopped hearing the 3 AM freight train completely. It's wild how the brain just tunes stuff out when it decides something isn't a threat. I guess our minds are just looking for patterns to ignore. Has that ever happened to you with a sound?
