Shoutout to the old timer who fixed my anvil stand with one look
Been fighting with a wobbly post anvil for weeks. Some guy at the supply shop just said 'your stand is too tall, chop 4 inches off and wedge it.' Did that last night and it's rock solid now. Anyone else had a simple fix that took them way too long to figure out?

Always amazes me how the simplest fix is the one you miss for weeks.

Preach. @gray_patel I spent three hours last week trying to figure out why my printer wouldn't connect. Turned out the USB cable was slightly loose. One push and it worked. Felt like a total idiot. Same thing happened with my router once, rebooted it four times before I realized I unplugged the power strip by accident. Always the dumb stuff.
