PSA: My group spent 45 minutes arguing about a single rule in 'Root' last Friday
We were at my place in Denver and the whole night just stopped because nobody could agree on how the Woodland Alliance's sympathy tokens worked. Has anyone else had a game night derailed by a rulebook that feels like it's written in another language?

Hold on, 45 minutes? Over sympathy tokens? That is wild to me, I don't think I've ever had a rule hold up a game that long. We spent a good 20 minutes once trying to figure out if the Vagabond could use an item that was already damaged to craft something, and I thought that was bad. But 45 minutes, that's like a whole other level of arguing. Root's rulebook is definitely a mess though, especially with how they explain the Alliance's whole "outrage" thing and when you actually get to place the tokens.
