Talked to my dad's old boss from the 90s last week and he said something that stuck
He told me he never yelled at anyone because 'that just makes people stop thinking' and I realized my current manager does that exact thing to me every Monday morning meeting.

Ngl, that hits different. Hope they actually listen to you, cause sometimes managers just don't get it until it's too late.
