Had a ficus drop 80% of its leaves after I moved it 3 feet left
Took me like 5 weeks to figure out it was just the change in light angle from a nearby window. Anyone else's plants freak out over the smallest spot change?

Man, my friend had a peace lily throw a total fit just because he rotated the pot like 90 degrees. Took him a month to realize it was mad about the new window angle.

...and now I'm side-eyeing the ficus I literally haven't moved in six months like, "Don't you dare, buddy." I swear my pothos once threw a week-long tantrum because I swapped the side of the pot facing the sun. It's like they're wired to detect the exact micro-angstrom of a light shift and respond with a dramatic leaf drop just to keep us humble. Meanwhile my snake plant survived a cross-country move in a cardboard box without so much as a droop. Pick a struggle, plants.
