That new lime mix from the supply house in Springfield just crumbled on me yesterday.

The whole south wall of the garage I was pointing started weeping after a rain, so I had to strip it all back and redo it with the old reliable stuff. Anyone have a mortar they swear by for wet climates?

Type N mortar mix holds up better.

Honestly at this point just use super glue. Seems like that's the only thing everyone could agree on.

Hold up, @zarapalmer, that's not quite right. Type N is a good general purpose mix, but Type S has more strength and holds up way better against soil pressure and freezing. You'd want Type S for anything below grade or in really wet conditions.
