Finally jumped on the monthly log bandwagon after hating on it for a year
I always swore by weekly spreads for the deep planning, but last month I missed a dentist appointment because I never flipped back to see it coming up. Seeing the whole month in one glance actually saved my butt, so I guess I was the one doing it wrong.

My weekly setup missed that dentist appointment too, so now I'm a monthly log convert with a side of shame. I literally laughed at myself when I realized the only thing I was doing wrong was refusing to use the right tool for the job. Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I still use sticky notes for emergency planning so I'm not exactly a productivity guru.
