Hit 1000 days straight in my journal and honestly the streak is the worst part of it
I started counting in 2023 and crossing day 1000 last Tuesday felt like nothing, because half those entries are one rushed line before bed just to keep the number alive. Anyone else stuck logging garbage pages for a streak instead of skipping a day and writing something real?
1000 days is wild though, even if some of those pages are rough. I did the same thing for about 8 months back in 2022 and finally quit counting when I realized I was writing stuff like "tired, nothing happened" just to tick the box. The worst part was when I actually had a good day worth writing about, I would still rush it because I was so used to the bare minimum. Letting the streak die felt like failing at first but my entries got way better after.
