I started using a single pen color for a month and my weekly spreads got way faster
I was spending maybe 20 minutes every Sunday just picking colors and switching pens, so last month I stuck with just a blue gel pen for everything. It cut my setup time in half and I didn't miss the rainbow look at all. Do you think sticking to one color makes things too boring, or is the time saved totally worth it?

That's such a good point about setup time. You could even take it a step further and just use a single notebook for everything, no more moving stuff between different planners. The less time spent on tools, the more time for actual planning.

Honestly though, is the moving stuff between planners even a big time sink? I mean, it takes like two minutes. Maybe it's just me but getting everything in one book sounds messy. You'd have to flip around to find anything. The separate planners keep things neat, and that helps me actually get stuff done.
