Had to choose between a fancy CRM or a $50 whiteboard last quarter

I was running my landscaping side gig and couldn't decide if I should drop $200 a month on HubSpot or just grab a cheap whiteboard from Target. I picked the whiteboard, wrote every client name and job date on it, and it worked great for about 2 weeks. Then my kid wiped half the board clean with a wet sponge while I was on a call with a customer. Has anyone else gone low-tech and regretted it when life got in the way?

Wait, have you ever actually TRIED keeping a whiteboard clean for more than a week? It's like a magnet for random grocery lists and doodles of cats.
