My old sleeping bag finally hit 100 nights out

Honestly, I just counted them up in my trip log and it was exactly 100 nights over eight years. It's this basic synthetic bag I got for like $80 back in college. Ngl, I thought the zipper would give out years ago, but it's still going strong even after a wet weekend in the Smokies last fall. Anyone else have a piece of gear that just keeps surprising you by not dying?

@richardh44 you two changed my mind, I used to think cheap gear was junk but this sleeping bag proved me wrong.

Ever notice how the best stuff just lasts forever? @richardh44, I swear my old water bottle and hiking boots are the same way. Some things are just built to outlive us.
