Just lost $150 on a resume writing service that was a total scam

I paid for a 'premium' package to switch from cooking to office work. They sent me a generic template filled with buzzwords. It looked awful and got zero calls back. Has anyone found a real person who actually helps with career changes?

Damn that sucks, sorry man. Have you tried asking someone who actually works in an office to look at your resume instead? Like a friend or a family member, someone who knows what those hiring managers want to see.
