I finally had a day last Tuesday where every single seam matched up perfectly on a 40 yard commercial job.
The room was a nightmare layout with seven doorways and I didn't have to re-stretch a single piece, has anyone else ever hit a day where everything just clicks like that?

40 yards on a seven door layout is solid work, but I gotta point out that 40 yards is only 120 feet. In true commercial carpet work, a single roll is usually 12 feet wide, so 40 yards would only cover a room about 12 by 40 feet. That's more of a medium sized commercial office, not a full blown "40 yard commercial job" like a ballroom or theater. Still, matching seams on 7 doorways without restretching is good. I've had days like that on smaller residential jobs but never on anything with that many door cuts.

Wait, hold up. Did you say "matching seams on 7 doorways without restretching"? That part blew my mind a little. Like, I've done plenty of days where a room has three or four doors and you're just hoping the seam doesn't crawl, but seven? That's some next level patience right there. I can barely get through a two door hallway without losing my cool when the pattern starts drifting.
