Brought my prized 1987 Spider-Man issue to a convention in Chicago and it got dinged
I was at C2E2 last year and had my copy of Web of Spider-Man #1 in a top loader. I set it down on a table for two seconds while I fished for cash to buy a sketch. Some kid knocked it off and the corner got crushed. I just stood there staring at the table for a minute before I asked the seller if he had any other copies. He didn't. Has anyone else had a comic get damaged at a show and did you ever get over it?

Oh man, that hurts. My buddy @walker.andrew had the same thing happen with a Dave Stevens Rocketeer sketch cover at a show in Baltimore. He set it down on a vendor's table while he dug out his wallet and some kid knocked it right into a puddle on the floor. The corners got soaked and the paper warped a bit. He says he still looks at it and sighs every time. He never did get another one either.
