Pro tip: a homeowner in Boise said my broom finish looked like a 'stormy sea'

Now I always wet the broom first and pull it once, no back and forth. Anyone else get a piece of feedback that totally changed a basic technique?

Ever get a comment so bad it makes you question your whole life? A guy once told me my grout lines looked like a toddler with a crayon got loose. Thanks for the boost, buddy. I feel you, @clairec78, most folks just say it looks fine.

That's a pretty poetic critique for a concrete slab. I've never had a client get that specific about texture.
