Tried playing a console exclusive on my PC last week and it felt wrong

I borrowed a friend's PS5 to test out a game I couldn't get on Steam, and after 20 years of mouse and keyboard I couldn't aim with a controller to save my life. Has anyone else tried switching just for one big exclusive and regretted the whole setup?

Heard somewhere that console players have been dealing with gyro aiming for years now and it actually helps bridge the gap for PC folks, but man I don't know if I wanna learn a whole new muscle memory just for one game.

You said "bridge the gap for PC folks" and I gotta say @noahhall I think we might be overthinking this a bit. Gyro aiming sounds cool on paper but a controller is already a controller, you know? People treat it like some game changer but I've seen console players wreck PC players with regular sticks for years. It's not like gyro suddenly makes you a god at aiming. Learning new muscle memory is a pain and for what, one game that probably has aim assist anyway? Unless you're trying to go pro or something I wouldn't stress about it. Is it really that big of a deal in the long run?
