Tried to prove PC gaming was cheaper by building a $400 rig, ended up spending $80 on a used Xbox One
I spent three weeks hunting deals on Craigslist and Newegg for a budget PC build, only to have the GPU die on day two. My buddy handed me his old Xbox One he was gonna toss, and I've been gaming on it ever since with zero headaches. Anyone else have a console save them from a money pit PC project?

Three dead sticks of RAM in one week made me rethink my life choices. That $80 Xbox one probably saved me from building a whole new gaming PC out of spite and bad credit card decisions. I was gonna call the build "Project Money Pit" before the GPU kicked it. Now I just call it the world's most expensive paperweight.
