Overheard a GC say he uses PVC trim for exterior corner boards instead of wood, been trying it on my last two jobs in Austin
I was at the lumber yard last Tuesday and heard this old GC talking about how he switched to PVC trim for outside corners because wood always rots out in 5 years here. I tried it on a house on South Lamar and another off Manor Road, and man, the stuff cuts cleaner and doesn't cup at all. Has anyone else made this swap for exterior details?
