Blew $270 on a used tile saw off Marketplace and the blade wobble was so bad it cut a curve
Drove 45 minutes to Fresno to grab it and the guy swore it "just needs a new blade," but a fresh $60 blade didn't fix the bent arbor. What's the cheapest way you guys check a used saw before handing over cash?

Man, even just running the arbor by hand before you hand over cash would've saved you. Grab the blade that's on it and try to wiggle it side to side, if there's any play at all just walk. Next time bring a small square too and lay it against the blade, any gap means the arbor's shot.
