My lip filler started to look really lumpy after a week
I was at a friend's birthday dinner in Austin when I noticed the filler in my top lip felt hard and had a small bump. I called my injector the next morning and she had me come in for a quick enzyme dissolve of just that spot. Has anyone else had a filler bump that needed fixing, and how did your provider handle it?

My injector in Dallas told me a small bump after a week can sometimes just be swelling, but mine felt like a hard pea. She used a tiny bit of hyaluronidase right on that spot and it was flat by the next day. I mean, it was a relief she didn't charge me for the fix because she said it was part of the follow-up. I did have to go back for a tiny touch-up of filler two weeks later since the dissolve took a bit more than just the lump. It made me trust her more that she handled it so fast.

That "character" comment is ridiculous, @wren_thomas16, no one pays for lumps. It is good @jamie712 had an injector who took responsibility and fixed it, that kind of follow-up is rare now. A hard pea lump sounds frustrating, but dissolving it for free and then touching up the filler later shows real integrity.

That's the kind of injector you want to keep forever, @jamie712. Mine just told me my weird lip bump was "character" and I was like, ma'am, I ordered smooth, not a topographical map. Having someone actually fix it without a whole new bill is a dream. It really does make all the difference in trusting them with your face.
