PSA: Stop letting your injector use the same needle for both cheeks
I was at a medspa in Denver last month and watched a girl get her cheeks done with the same needle the injector used on her chin. She ended up with a massive infection and I heard the injector say it was 'just to save time'. Why is nobody talking about how dangerous this practice is in real clinics?

Oh hell no. That is straight up negligence and should be illegal. Reusing a needle between different areas of the face is asking for cross contamination and serious infections. Honestly, any injector who does that has no business being near a syringe. I'd report that medspa to the health department immediately. That girl could end up with permanent scarring or worse. Clinics need to be held accountable for this kind of dangerous shortcut.

Saw a derm on YouTube talk about how even changing the needle between cheeks isn't enough - each area of the face has different bacteria counts and risk levels. Chin and nose are higher risk zones with more bacteria, so you definitely can't use the same needle there. That injector basically stabbed that girl's chin bacteria straight into her cheeks with a dirty needle. My friend's injector in Austin uses a brand new needle for every single injection site and still wipes the area with alcohol first. That medspa in Denver needs to get shut down before they hurt someone else.
