Heads up: I linked a client's rash to a common styling product

A regular had itchy bumps after a blowout with a popular heat protectant. I looked up the ingredients and found a silicone that can clog pores. Switching to a lighter, water-based spray solved it in days. Now I check for non-comedogenic labels on all my products. It's a small change that avoids big client issues.

Wait, isn't that the silicone that sits on top of the skin? I read an article that said it can trap bacteria and stuff for some people.

Yeah, and Olivia's right, that trapped bacteria can cause real skin issues.

No way, it can trap bacteria? I totally forgot to clean mine last week, that's kinda gross!
