Hot take: I started using cheap drugstore hair spray for setting my blowouts and it actually works better

I was out of my $30 salon hairspray last week and grabbed a $4 can of Suave at the CVS on Elm Street, and my clients' curls held all day without that sticky crunch. Has anyone else found a random budget product that outperformed their go-to expensive stuff?

I read somewhere that Suave actually uses the same base formula as some high-end brands lol.

The Suave volumizing mousse is the same way, I swear by the $3 stuff over anything fancy I've tried. Sometimes the cheap stuff just works better with no fuss.
