Spent two full hours trying to get a single stubborn foiling highlight out of a client's hair last Tuesday.
It was just one tiny, bright piece that refused to lift, and the whole thing felt like a weird magic trick gone wrong, so has anyone else had a foil decide to become a permanent resident?

Ugh, that's the worst kind of foil ghost.

Honestly, I get why you'd say that, but the worst is actually when the foil gets stuck to the chocolate itself. It leaves those tiny, impossible to pick off shreds. A full ghost you can at least peel off in one piece. Those little bits ruin the whole bite for me.

Yeah, grant.luna is right about those tiny shreds being the real problem. It's like the foil just explodes into a million pieces. You try to pick them off but they stick to your fingers, they get under your nails, and you just know you're gonna crunch down on one later. That little metallic zing ruins the whole candy bar. A big piece you can see and avoid, but those bits are sneaky.
