TIL most people are skipping the bonder step in vivid colors

I keep seeing faded rainbow dye jobs come through my chair, and every time I ask, they never used a bonder before the color. One client lost half her pink within 10 days because of it. Has anyone else noticed this skipping trend lately?

Must be the same people who skip primer on a wall and wonder why the paint peels off in a week.
