Vent: finally hit 500 clients on my books and now I'm drowning

I hit 500 clients in my chair last month, which I thought was a big deal for my little salon in Des Moines. But now I'm spending more time on booking and less on actual cutting and coloring. Am I the only one who thought more clients would mean more freedom, not less?

You're telling me she was actually scheduling his meetings and managing his calendar? I thought that was just an expression, like 'oh I feel like a secretary.' But no, she really was. That's not part of the job description for a stylist, at least not in my book. I'd be pretty upset if I signed up to pick out clothes and ended up booking lunch reservations.
