Tried a new hand signal for a tricky blind lift and it worked way better than I thought

We had to set a big AC unit on a roof with a wall in the way, so the operator couldn't see the spotter. I remembered a guy at a training in Phoenix show a 'slow creep' signal, which is just a flat hand moving slowly forward. I gave it a shot, and the operator got the load exactly where we needed it on the first try. I always thought those extra signals were just for the book, but this one saved us a ton of time. Has anyone else found a specific signal that really saved your bacon on a job?

Love that. The slow creep is clutch for blind lifts.

Know exactly what you mean, patricia42, that slow creep feels so good when it works.
